For engineering teams

Put your engineering judgement into rules once — not into every order.

Cadxor is how an engineering team scales its knowledge: approved components, connection data and rules that encode what is allowed, with you deciding the exceptions.

The situation

The best engineers are drafting variants.

Configured products generate a long tail of small drawing and BOM changes. They are low-risk individually but constant, and they fragment the time needed for real design work.

Spreadsheet configurators and copied drawings drift from the released models, and nobody is sure which version a quote was based on.

With Cadxor

  • Rules as structured data you can review, version and test
  • Connector-based assembly from released STEP revisions
  • Released configurations are immutable; changes create new revisions
  • Every approval stored with the configuration hash it applied to
  • Engineering review only where a rule says it is needed
Typical first product families

Where teams start

Your highest-volume variant

Start where request volume is highest and rules are clearest.

A family with stable components

Released parts with known connection points convert fastest.

A family with ERP pain

Where re-keying causes the most errors, integration pays back first.

Common questions

Do we lose control of what ships?

No. Engineering defines components, connections and rules; anything outside them requires engineering approval.

How are connection points defined?

As origin, axis, class, diameter, insertion depth and tolerance per connector — selectable visually in the component editor on the roadmap.

Can AI change our rules?

No. AI may suggest metadata or mappings in future, but nothing manufacturing-critical changes without an engineer's approval.

How do we test rule changes?

Rules are versioned and validated on save; configurations record the rule and family revisions they were evaluated against.
