Sell configured products without queueing every order behind engineering.
If a meaningful share of your orders are variants of products you already make, Cadxor turns those variants into a controlled, self-service workflow — and keeps engineering in charge of what is allowed.
Engineering capacity is spent re-creating known designs.
Configure-to-order and engineered-to-order lines create a steady stream of small engineering tasks: change a length, swap an end fitting, switch material, re-issue the drawing, update the BOM.
Each one is simple. Together they consume the engineering hours you need for new products, and they slow every quote down to the speed of the engineering queue.
With Cadxor
- Standard variants release without engineering touching them
- Non-standard requests arrive with the rule that flagged them and the exact data to review
- Drawings, BOMs and models generated in your formats from your released components
- ERP items and quotes created from the same record — no re-keying
- A full audit trail of who approved which version
Where teams start
Tube and pipe assemblies
End fittings plus a parametric section: the canonical first family.
Frames and structures
Standard members cut to length with standard brackets and connectors.
Modular equipment
Machines and skids assembled from a fixed set of modules and options.
Do we have to rebuild our CAD library?
No. Cadxor uses your existing STEP models. Implementation adds connection data and metadata to the parts in the first family.
What if a request is outside the rules?
It is routed for approval or handed to engineering as a normal custom job. Cadxor automates the repeatable share, not every request.
Which CAD system do we need?
Any system that exports STEP. Optional Inventor output uses your Inventor licence on the CAD worker.
How long does a first family take?
A focused pilot is typically scoped in weeks; the timeline depends on library cleanup and ERP mapping.
